Our aim is to promote the sport of competition rifle shooting and to provide shooters with the facilities and services required to allow them the opportunity to enjoy their sport from “weekend fun target shooting” right up to the highest level of competition in a safe environment.
At East Marden we provide target shooting in disciplines using .22 rifles and air rifles. .22 disciplines are Prone and Benchrest and are both competed in their own divisions over 20 and 50 metres. We have also just started a new air rifle division in a new specially built 10 metre range.
The role of East Marden is to foster and promote the sport of rifle shooting in a safe environment
The club takes care in ensuring that the sport of shooting is held in high reqard within in the community and encourages participation from members of the public.
The East Marden Smallbore Rifle Club Inc. was formed in 1947, and continues to meet every Wednesday evening from 7.00p.m.
We alternate each week, shooting 20m prone and benchrest one week and 50m prone and benchrest the next. We currently shoot air rifle on Friday nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
The club's range is on MacFarlane Ct, formerly James Street extension via Hill Street at Campbelltown. (Refer to 'Where are we' link for map)
Coaching and the use of a club rifle is available for beginners, and visitors are welcome.
